No New Posts Ogir-Yensa Sandsea

The western-most of the two great Sandseas. It is the connection between the Westersand and the Sandseas. It is filled with oil-drill towers. However, as is the case with the rest of Ivalice, one must watch one's back when traveling through this place. The Urutan-Yensa have a tendency to prey on anyone and anything that dares to cross their path.

No New Posts Nam-Yensa Sandsea

The desert in the west of the Jagd Yensa. Fine sand beats in waves against the feet of the rolling dunes of this region which, together with the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea, is called the Great Yensan Sandsea.
To the west of the Nam-Yensa lies the gorge known as the Valley of the Dead, so called because it has been the scene of many an ill-starred adventurer's demise.

No New Posts Raithwall's Tomb - 1 Viewing

This is the tomb of the Dynast King. It once held the legendary Dawn Shard until a group of travelers retrieved it. Only the bravest and strongest of wanderers may enter here, lest their heads be separated from the rest of their being,oh and beware of the demon walls if your not fast enough they will get you.

No New Posts The Pharos of Ridorana - 1 Viewing

A large tower that stands on the Ridorana island in the Jagd Naldoa region of Ivalice. It is a source of light, though for what is not exactly sure. A select few may enter here, and once inside few come out. It has many levels to it, above and below ground level. The bosses and creatures in here are not to be taken lightly. It is also the source of the great Mist explosion created by the shattering of the Dawn Shard less than a year ago. Yet the Mist seems disturbed here as much as anywhere else. Why?

No New Posts Feywood - 1 Viewing

An ancient wood deep in the jungles of Golmore. The combination of dense Mist and regular snow, the latter a product of the region's elevation, is enough to keep away even the Viera.
Many of the trees have stood for several thousands of years, and some have begun to petrify. Numerous plants once thought extinct grow here, and many rare birds and animals can be seen in their primitive forms, unchanged for millennia.

No New Posts Mt. Bur-Omisace

It would not be an error to call Mt. Bur-Omisace itself a shrine to Kiltia. Apart from the temples, there are only a few residences, with roadside shops catering to the steady stream of pilgrims.
In recent years, refugees from war-torn lands have gathered here, forming camps on part of the mountain. The priests of Kiltia give them aid that they might live here in peace.
As Mt. Bur-Omisace is surrounded by jagd, the faithful must cross the Inner Naldoan Sea by boat in their pilgrimage to the holy city.

No New Posts Paramina Rift

Comprising a great ravine running through the mountains of the Jagd Ramooda, this is a barren land covered in hoarfrost and deep snows. The spent shells of Airships hang in the frozen river, and here and there can be seen the ruins of great cities built during the years of the Galtean Alliance.
Many are the scholars who believe that the Paramina Rift was once a rich and verdant land, and that a climate change brought about by Mist made it into the cold, harsh jagd we see today.

No New Posts Ozmone Plains

The Ozmone Plains are the plains connected to those of Giza. Within its grasp is one of the many entrances to the Zertinan Caverns as well as the village of Jahara.

No New Posts Giruvegan

Known as the Holy Realm, is a location in the land of Ivalice. It is an ancient city that has faded from the people's eyes, and many have sought to rediscover this forgotten settlement, but to no avail due to the dense Mist that permeates the entire region where the city is believed to be located.

Giruvegan is located in the far south of Ivalice, in the Jagd Difohr region. To reach it, travelers must cross the Feywood. Even then, entrance isn't simple, as only The Gigas may open its gates. Giruvegan appears to be a literal realm located on a different plane; nothing of the Feywood can be seen behind the Gate of the Gigas from the Giruvegan side.

The city does not follow the standards of other cities in Ivalice.
The city consists of a giant pit, at the very bottom of which is the Great Crystal. Around the sides of this pit are platforms, going down the way. These platforms are connected by invisible platforms, that appear only when approached.
The only other way to travel the city is by the many waystones that are all around the city.
Above the city, only accessible by a waystone guarded by the Esper Shemhazai, the Occuria still reside, keeping a watchful eye over all of Ivalice. Never to leave this place, only people deemed worthy may actually see the Occuria.
